Twenty-five years of ivestigations on the distribution and taxonomy of the mayflies in the Russian Far East has resulted in the records of 170 species belonging to 39 genera and 16 families. Original findings of mayflies in tributaries of the Sea of Japan, the basin of Ussuri, and Amur Rivers are presented. Most of the recorded species in inhabit East Palaearctic and Palearchearctic areas. A list of all species found in the Russian Far East is given.
