Individual growth of mayfly larvae was investigated. The parameters for relationships between larval growth and body weight for sixteen species of three families of rheophilic mayfly larvae did not differ either at specific or generic levels within a family or family levels. Growth rate of mayfly larvae obtained by cage rearing were compared with the values estimated for fiekd populations using size-frequency histograms.
