Diagnosis of the longimanus-group, distributed over Nearctic and E. Palearctic is given. Imago and nymphs of three Palearctic species - E. (I.) aesculus, E. (I.) maculatus and E. (I.) alexandri sp. n. - are descibed. Lectotype of E. (I.) maculatus is designated. Iron grunini is synonymized with E. (I.) aesculus, I. latericius and I. tshernovae are sunk synonymy of E. (I.) maculatus.
