The data on the limnephilid caddisfly species from the arctic tundra lake of Wrangel Island are presented. A description of IV instar larva is given, attempts are made to associate the found larvae with one of the related genera of the Asynarchus-Limnephilus-Philarctus complex, and it is concluded that the larvae belong to the Philarctus bergrothi McLachlan, 1880.
