Two classes of primordial biological objects closely approximating the transitional period are considered. The description of Kolmogorov's (algorithmic) complexity of primordial objects displays certain difficulties with extrapolation of properties of these objects to prebiology, demonstrating the inefficiency of an object-oriented approach in reconstruction of the transitional period. The possibility of the "natural" growth of the complexity of the biological world due to the complexity of the preexisting systems (in prebiology and earlier) is discussed.
