In the fauna of the islands of the Peter the Great Gulf 12 species from the genus Yponomeuta were revealed, for which an annotated list including data on localities, time of specimen collecting, distribution of species and hostplants of larvae is given. The island fauna is mainly inhabited by species with the Far-Eastern type of range (10 species). The emergence of imaginal stage (adult) is shifted by 10-14 days at a later date in an island climate. The larvae of discovered Yponomeuta species, possessing by limited spectrum of hostplants, are characterized by narrow trophic specialization. Thus, 3 species are monophagous, equal number of species (by 4 species) is included in groups of narrow and wide oligophagous. The results of comparative morphological and molecular genetic analysis on the model species Far-Eastern apple moth Y. orientalis confirmed the weak divergence and conspecificity of island and mainland populations, despite of presence of differences in trophic preferences in larvae.
