An illustrated description of a water mite species, Woolastookia elongata (Sokolow, 1934) from the Far East of Russia is presented. The male and deutonymph are described for the first time. The synonymization of Woolastookia spatulata Kim et Chung, 1996, described from South Korea, is proposed.
