Four new species of chironomids of the Harnischia complex, Cryptotendipes secundus sp.n., Parachironomus pseudovarus sp.n., Paracladopelma jacksoni sp.n., Rabackia aculeata sp.n. are described, based on the morphology of adult males collected from Sakhalin Island of the Russian Far East.
