Larvae of two stonefly species, Capnia arensi Zhiltzova, 1964 and Capnia ( Capnia ) longicauda Zhiltzova, 1969, collected from the Greater Caucasus and Eastern Tien-Shan mountains are described and illustrated for the first time. Details of chaetotaxy of the mouthparts, head, pronotum, legs, abdominal and cercal segments are revealed by scanning electron and light microscopy.
