Four new Gelechiidae species of the genus Photodotis Meyrick, 1911 are described from the Malaysian part of Borneo: Ph. crockeri sp. n., Ph. decolorata sp. n., Ph. aliena sp. n., and Ph. imperfecta sp. n. The name of the genus Palintropa Meyrick, 1913 is considered a junior synonym of that of the genus Photodotis Meyrick, syn. n. A new combination is also established: Photodotis hippica (Meyrick, 1913), comb. n. ex Palintropa.
