Hypoxylon hubeiense and Hypoxylon yannanense (Xylariales, Xylariaceae) are described as new species from China. Morphological descriptions and photographs of stromata and microstructures are provided based on the Chunese material, and the delimitation of these species from similar taxa are discussed.
