The regional ecological scales developed previously (Komarova et al., 2003) are applied to the comparative assessment of ecological tolerance of different plant species with respect to factors of moisture supply, active soil richness, and temperature regime of habitats in forest areas in the middle and upper mountain belts of the Southern and Northern Sikhote-Alin, on the Muraviev-Amurskii Peninsula, and in the Ussuri and Khingan nature reserves.
