The paper presents the results of algal biodiversity of hot springs from islands Kunashir, Shiashkotan and Yankicha (Kuril Islands, Russia). Algal flora represents by 163 species (180 subspecific taxa) from 4 Divisions: Cyanoprokaryota, Euglenophyta, Bacillariophyta and Chlorophyta.
