A mosaic disease of a wild species Vicia unijuga A.Br has been revealed in the Amurskaya oblast. The pathogen was a virus with isometric particles in diameter of 28-30 nm. The thermal inactivation point of a pathogen was 73°C, the longevity in vitro in sap of broad bean - up to 3 days, dilution of infectivity point - 10-5. The virion consist one type of capsid protein with molecular weight 19 kD. Antigenic relationship of isolate under study with brome mosaic virus and Vicia unijuga mosaic virus was revealed. Pathogen was identified as a new strain this bromovirus. The virus easily transmits to legume crops causing to significant damage. 31
