On mutant karyotype in Rodents, with a description of the normal karyotype of Mesocrisetus raddei

The intrapopulation chromosome polymorphism occurs in less than 4% of mammals species. Abnormal karyotypes are extremely rare. Among 1,700 speciments of rodents, 2 mutant forms were found: for Citellus erythrogenys and Mesocricetus raddei.
