Before this study was conducted, the genus Prumna Motschulsky, 1859 included 25 species distributed in Russia, Mongolia, China, Korea, and Japan. Three new species are described from Primorsky Krai in Russia, namely Prumna ikonnikovi sp. nov., Prumna tarbinskyi sp. nov. and Prumna udege sp. nov. The species Prumna ussuriensis Tarbinsky, 1930 is divided into three subspecies: nominotypic, P. ussuriensis orientalis Storozhenko, 1983, stat. resurr., and P. ussuriensis boreorientalis subsp. nov. Thus, the genus Prumna currently consists of 27 species, of which 18 species are recorded from Russia. All taxa of Prumna known from Russia are described and illustrated. The distribution maps for each species are provided. An original key to the Russian species and subspecies is also given. The distribution of all species of Prumna in Russia and adjacent countries is briefly discussed. Seventeen species are known from Primorsky Krai in Russia, of which thirteen species are endemic to this region. Therefore, Primorsky Krai is undoubtedly a hotspot for the diversity of the genus Prumna.
