We compiled this checklist by synthesising previously published data with new, hitherto unpublished records of spinturnicid mites from the Russian Federation. In total, 12 mite species (13 subspecies) referable to three genera are documented. The following new host associations are reported: Spinturnix mystacina on Myotis petax, S. myoti on M. longicaudatus, S. myoti on M. bombinus, S. plecotina on M. ikonnikovi, S. kolenatii on M. davidii, S. acuminata on M. mystacinus, S. kolenatii on Nyctalus lasiopterus, S. mystacina on N. lasiopterus, S. kolenatii on Plecotus ognevi, and S. acuminata on Vespertilio murinus. We additionally furnish distributional records from several Russian regions whence spinturnicid mites had not previously been reported.
