The data available in the literature about the larvae of the Pleurosticti group of scarab beetles occurring in Russia are summarized. The majority of taxa (all subfamilies and tribes and 56 genera of 61) include species that have described larvae. However, the revision of these descriptions is needed for many taxa because the descriptions were based on the limited set of characters, and the method of identification of the species was not stated.
