The purpose of the research is the biological and phytocenological characteristics of some rare plant species of Primorsky Krai from the new lists of the Red Book of the Russian Federation and the Red Book of Primorsky Krai. Information is provided on four plant species of the natural flora of the south of the Russian Far East, which are listed for the first time in the list of flora objects to be included in the Red Book of the Russian Federation and the Red Book of Primorsky Krai. Subtropical species, еastаsian endemic Alangium platanifolium (Siebold & Zucc.) Harms. (Alangiaceae) and orchid Cypripedium shanxiense S.C. Chen (Orchidaceae) is listed in the Red Books of the federal and regional protection levels; Isopyrum manshuricum Kom. ex W.T. Wang et Hsiao (Ranunculaceae) and Rubus pungens Camb. (Rosaceae) - recommended for the new edition of the Red Book of Primorsky Krai. Data on new locations, ecotopic occurrence, population status, and seasonal rhythm of development of these rare plants in their natural habitat, including in protected areas, are presented.
