Worldwide, there is a problem of incorrect identification of parasites as a result of using only morphological or molecular data. This problem also affects the tremor of the south of the Russian Far East. The use of an integrated approach has allowed identifying a large number of new species circulating in this area, most of which are endemic. The main causes of endemism of these worms are discussed: geological and climatic features of the studied territory, as well as restriction of parasite spread due to high adaptation to the least mobile hosts in their life cycles.
