Freshwater bivalves Sinanodonta sp. (Bivalvia: Unioniformes: Unionidae) are recorded in the Chagan Lake basin (Jilin Province, Northeast China) for the first time. Their species a liation is discussed and original photographs of three species of the genus are provided.
