The plant communities with the participation of Alnus japonica near the northern limit of the distribution of this species in Primorsky Krai (the mouth part of the Avvakumovka River in the Olginsky District) are described in this article. Their floristic composition and the coenoflora of Japanese alder forests in Southern Primorye are discussed.
