Collection of larvae and male imago of Diamesa tsutsuii (Tokunaga, 1936) (Diamesinae, Chironomidae, Diptera) from a few localities of Sakhalin Island and Primorye stored in the Laboratory of Freshwater Hydrobiology FSCEATB FEB RAS (Vladivostok) is under discussion. A comparison of conchological features with the purpose to check the validity of taxonomic characters is made.
