Twenty-nine species in 25 genera and four families of the order Orthoptera are found in the Nora Nature Reserve, including 7 species of Tettigoniidae, 2 - Gryllidae, 2 - Tetrigidae, and 18 species of Acrididae. All species are recorded from this reserve for the first time. The number of species in the northern regions of Amurskaya oblast (Nora Reserve, 52°30′ N) is at about two times less than in the southern regions (Khingan Nature Reserve, 49o01' N). The local fauna of Nora Reserve is also compared with well studied faunas of the natural reserves situated in the middle and lower parts of Amur River basin.
