Monitoring results of a migrating population of Tristram’s bunting in southern Primorye are presented, based on ringing data (1999–2018). Dramatic declines in the numbers of the Yellow-breasted bunting and the Rustic bunting in recent decades make it necessary to forecast the condition of other species in the family Emberizidae. The phenology of migrations and the stopover length of birds in the study area were monitored. Spring migration of the study species is weakly expressed, vs. a massive autumn migration. Our studies show a trend for a long-term decrease in the numbers, the rate of fat load, and the stopover length of this species on the flight pathways.
