New data are presented on the Neuroptera and Raphidioptera fauna of Mordovia and neighboring regions Nizhniy Novgorod region, Ulyanovsk region and Penza region. Most specimens were collected by fermenting bait traps in tree crowns (fermenting beer supplemented with honey, jam or sugar and yeast). Wesmaelius concinnus (Hemerobiidae) is recorded for the first time in the Republic of Mordovia. The occurrence of Chrysopa formosa in Mordovia was confirmed. Several Chrysopidae species were firstly recorded from Penza region (9 species), Nizhny Novgorod region (5 species), and Ulyanovsk region (2 species).
