The paper describes two new species of the genus SemophyaxMeyrick ( S. margaritae M. Omelko et N. Omelko sp. nov. and S. decipens M. Omelko et N. Omelko, sp. nov.) from Sabah, the Malaysian part of Borneo. S. margaritae sp. nov. is very close to the recently described species S. crassiuscula M. Omelko et N. Omelko 2018, from South Laos. Both species were collected in the mountains at the altitude of 950-1000 m above sea level.
