PRELIMINARY DATA ON THE CHIRONOMID FAUNA (DIPTERA, CHIRONOMIDAE) OF THE MOUNTAIN LAKES OF CHERSKIY RIDGE (MAGADAN REGION AND SAKHA REPUBLIC (YAKUTIA))

According to the materials of the Institute of Biological Problems of the North of FEB RAS (Magadan) expedition, a preliminary chironomids list of mountain lakes Bolshoi and Malyi Darpir, Momontai, Ui located in the Kolyma River basin (Susumansky District of the Magadan Region and Momsky District of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is given. A total of 75 species were found from 43 genera of 6 subfamilies - Podonominae (1 species), Tanypodinae (1 species), Diamesinae (5 species, 3 genera), Prodiamesinae (1 species), Orthocladiinae (38 species, 20 genera), Chironominae (29 species, 16 genera). At least five species were new to science. A descriptions of three species of them, Cricotopus ( C ). drazhnicus sp.n., Krenosmittia margarittoi sp.n. and Tokunagaia darpiri sp.n., are cited in the article. The most interesting findings in the lakes are a new for Palaearctic species Zalutschia furcarca Sӕther and the adult male of a new for the Russia species Tanytarsus heliomesonyctios Langton, which was known before from Spitsbergen, Jan Mayen Islands (Norway), Arctic Canada and previously considered as parthenogenetic. The largest number of species (56) was found in the Bolshoi Darpir Lake, in the Malyi Darpir Lake -25 species, Ui Lake - 21 species, Momontai Lake - 13 species. According to the types of distribution, 38 species are attributed to the Holarctic and 23 Palaearctic species.
