The brown bear craniometrical parameters variability is studied in the south of the Russian Far East. In his work, the author investigated 65 skulls of brown bear males and formed three samples - from Primorsky Territory, Sakhalin region and the Amur River left bank. For the most parameters, the analysis showed a difference of the Primorsky sample from the other samples. The other two samples did not differ significantly. The author supposes that the boundary between the Arctos and the Beringianus subspecies is located further to the south than previously described.
