The authors present the results of studies on the changes in fertility of agricultural dark-humic gley soils with perennial grasses (Eastern galega, awnless brome) under the influence of different techniques of tillage (harrowing, disking) with the addition of mineral fertilizers. The influence of various agrotechnical methods of soil treatment on the content, humus reserves, and energy reserves of soils is established. Changes in catalase activity and CO2 emissions were investigated. The most effective agrotechnical methods of soil cultivation, which have a positive impact on the yield of perennial grasses, are suggested.
