The article presents the results of a study of forest plant formations on the territory of the Namsky uluus (Central Yakutia) based on remote sensing. Developed map of types of formations of forests with a scale of 1:100000, identified the outlines formations subformations and group formations, assessed their area. The research results will be useful in planning for a rational forest management in the region.
