The history of formation and development of the arboretum of Gornotayezhnaya Station named after V.L. Komarov of the FEB RAS is considered in the paper. Data on arboretum structure and its collection are given. Some methods of landscaping used in arboretum’s sites construction are described. The role of the arboretum in ecological education is indicated.
