The paper presents the composition of littoral zone macrozoobenthos in the Odoptu Bay (Northern Sakhalin) assembled at one of the mass concentration of waders during the summer and autumn migrations. It considers the main taxonomic groups that make up the diet of migrating waders. It was found that, in terms of abundance and biomass of macrozoobenthos, the richest is the top layer of mud, to 5 cm deep. It is shown that the abundance of food resources for migrating shorebirds at the Odoptu Bay littoral zone is comparable and higher than those at mass stopover spots of waders in European Russia. The largest number of birds, stopping at the Odoptu Bay in July and August, correlates with high abundance and biomass of macrozoobenthos marked at that time.
