Five species of Melitturga from Russia and adjacent territories are reviewed. A key to species for both sexes is given. Melitturga taurica Friese, 1922 is newly recorded from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan, and M. praestans Giraud, 1861 from Kazakhstan. Lectotypes are designated for Melitturga caucasica Morawitz, 1877 and M. pictipes Morawitz, 1891. An annotated check list of 17 Melitturga species is given.
