Using frequencies at 236 RAPD-loci, genetic variability and population structure of larch in Primorye was analyzed. Parameters characterizing the level of polymorphism and genetic diversity were calculated. In the populations studied, 32-67% of genes were polymorphic, the average number of alleles per locus ranged from 1.32 to 1.67, the effective number of alleles, from 1.20 to 1.33, the expected heterozygosity, from 0.1189 to 0.2825. The interpopulation constituent amounted to more than 34% of the total genetic variability; 66% was explained by individual and intrapopulation variation. The mean value of gene flow was less than 2. The genetic distances between all pairs of the populations studied ranged from 0.0565 to 0.1487 and corresponded to the distances between species of the genus Larix.
