Areas of Pinus koraiensis Siebold et Zucc. and Picea ajanensis (Lindl. et Gord.) Fisch. ex Carr.) in the lower reaches of the Bureya are located on the mountain slopes of its tributaries. In the composition of the valley forest grow Picea obovata Ledeb. and Abies nephrolepis (Trautv.) Maxim.. Valley fir-spruce forests of the lower reaches of the Bureya river are enriched with typical representatives of nemoral flora of cedar and deciduous dendroflora. There is a threat of destroy of these forests in connection with the filling of the Nizhne-Bureyskaya reservoir.
