Hamamelidoxylon sp. ( Hamamelidaceae) is described from the Upper Cretaceous of the Zeya-Bureya basin (the Amur River area) on the base of the fossil wood anatomy. A fossil wood of Hamamelidaceae was found in the Cretaceous deposits of Russia for the first time.
