The subgenus Tuvapisidium Izzatullaev and Starobogatov, 1986 of the genus Odhneripisidium Kuiper, 1962 includes, along with five fossil species, three subfossil ones originating from recent drainage basins of the Altai Mountains and Tuva: O. ( T. ) popovae Starobogatov et Streletzkaja, 1967, O. ( T. ) terekholicum Izzatullaev et Starobogatov, 1986 and O. ( T. ) tuvaense Izzatullaev et Starobogatov, 1986. Living specimens of these species have been recorded from Tore-Khol’ Lake in south-eastern Tuva for the first time. The morphology of the shell and hinge of these three species was studied with SEM. Morphological characters and distribution of Tuvapisidium species are more precisely described.
