.New evidence for fossil Primoгye oaks is given to confirm the viewpoint of some investigators concerning wide oak distribution in times when oaks formed аn independent zone in low-mountain areas. Recent Primorye oak forests are represented bу relicts of multicomponental oak-and, possibly, chestnut-oak forests.
