The actuality of restoring of the protection status for lime trees (Tilia spp.) in the Primorskii Krai, that has been applied for many decades until 2007, for maintaining the important component of the forest ecosystems and main re- source for sustainable agricultural sector, is obvious. Now the right measure for the lime trees protection in the Primorskii Krai is recommended – to include Tilia spp. in the «List of species of trees and shrubs that cannot be allowed for cutting», approved by the Federal Forestry Agency № 513, 05.12.2011.
