This article commemorates the 90th anniversary of V. S. Khramtsov. It describes the organizational, scientific, and environmental activities of V. S. Khramtsov, who worked at the Lazovsky Nature Reserve for 24 years, including 20 years as its director. In 1988, he secured the expansion of the reserve by 3,500 hectares. During his tenure, he published 30 scientific papers on the conservation, biology of the sika deer, goral, Himalayan and brown bears, and the Amur tiger.
