The calcicolous lichen Rinodina bischoffii is reported for the first time in the southern part of the Russian Far East from Primorsky Krai and Sakhalin Island. The species was collected on calcareous rocks in four localities. The paper provides data on morphology, anatomy, ecology, distribution and diff erences of Rinodina bischoffii from the closely related species based on the studied material. In addition, the verified localities of the species from Republic of Buryatia and Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are given. The species is reported for the first time in the Okinsky District of Buryatia.
