Data are presented on changes in the mayfly community from the small salmon Tigrovaya River under different hydrological conditions and weak anthropogenic effect. About 40 species of the order Ephemeroptera are recorded in the river. The larvae of mayflies are dominant in the benthic community on sediments with fractions of <22 cm; their abundance reaches 176–8601 ind./m2 and biomass 0.38–19.67 g/m2. Minimum values are recorded during the summer flood, the maximum abundance during the ice period, and the maximum biomass in the spring–summer low- water period. Mayfly species belonging to five ecological groups have been detected in the studied section of the Tigrovaya River. Representatives of the families Heptageniidae and Ephemerellidae, mainly of the genera Cinygmula and Drunella, play the leading role in the formation of the mayfly community throughout the year. High quantitative parameters are achieved in some cases due to the nymphs and larvae of early ages.
