A new remarkable Hoplitis species of the subgenus Alcidamea Cresson, 1864 (Hymenoptera: Megachilidae) from Tajikistan

A new species of megachilid bees, Hoplitis (Alcidamea) rasnitsyni Proshchalykin et Fateryga, sp. n., is described and illustrated based on males and females from Tajikistan. The number of species of the subgenus Alcidamea has been increased to 83.
