A new amazing species of the genus Pseudisotoma Handschin, 1924 (Collembola: Isotomidae) from the Beringian region

Based on materials from northeastern Chukotka and the Aleutian Islands Pseudisotoma beringiana sp. n. is described. It is rather similar to P. sensibilis (Tullberg, 1877), the type species of the genus, but it differs by the complete absence of clavate tibiotarsal setae, the presence of which is considered one of the main diagnostic features of the genus.
