The results of the taxonomy revision of Rosaceae (Pentactina and Geum) are presented in the paper. It is established that endemic Spiraea schlothauerae Ignatov et Worosch. described earlier from a ridge Badzhal concerns genera Pentactina. The new nomenclature combination is made. It is revealed that materials from the Primorskii Krai, defined earlier as G. urbanum L., concern actually the East Asian species G. japonicum Thunb., widespread in Japan, Korea and China. Keys for definition of species in each of genera are made.
