Special features of the plant cover of mud volcano Pugatchyeva (South Sakhalin)

The first data about plant cover of the mud volcano Pugatchyeva are given on the basis of original studies. A checklist of the vascular plants of volcano includes 125 species. The endemic and rare species of volcanic mud field: Deschampsia tzvelevii, Primula sachalinensis, Gentianella sugawarae, Juncus gracillimus, J. nodulosus are discussed.
