The result of preliminary studies of the vascular plants and lichens collection are presented. The collection was obtained during 5-years field investigations on the nothern macroslope in the Korjak mountain range (Chukotka autonomous region). Thirteen local floras were studied in detail and 29 species and subspecies were discovered as new ones. Vegetation zonation of the area was made, the main sinusias of plant cover were determined and a typical altitude profile of vegetation was described. The Northern Korjak flora demonstrates a high endemizm and their much closer connections with flora of the Bering Sea coasts of Eastern Chukotka, Alaska as well as Kamchatka in contrast to the continental areas of Chukotka and Kolyma .
