The history of botanical research on Russky Island, located within the city of Vladivostok, is traced. Data on the island’s flora from 1860 to 2024 are summarized, and the species composition of vascular plants is clarified. To date, the flora of Russky Island includes 953 species, of which 153 (16.1%) are adventitious plants. This component of the island’s natural flora includes alien species of Primorye Territory, as well as «locally adventitious» species, that is, plants that are native to Primorye, but whose growth on Russky Island is due to human activity. The process of flora adventization is facilitated by the intensive development of this island (construction of various structures, laying of linear communications, creation of recreational areas), especially over the past few years (2010–2020s). The flora of Russky Island includes 36 species (3.8%) listed in the Red Books of the Russian Federation and Primorye Territory. 128 species known from herbarium collections on this island from 1921–1928 and earlier have not been confirmed by modern observations.
