The centric diatoms from the Middle Miocene and Pliocene deposits of Primorye are studied. The important for the stratigraphy of the region freshwater centric diatoms of the genera Aulacoseira, Alveolophora and Actinocyclus were studied by electron microscopy. The established morphological features for the Middle Miocene and Pliocene valves of representatives of the genera Aulacoseira and Alveolophora allow them to be used as indicators. This is can be used in the stratigraphic zoning of Neogene deposits of Primorye. The presence of Actinocyclus goburnovii in Pliocene complexes is established, although it was previously thought that this taxon disappeared in the late Miocene.
